Proxy Bidding:  Give us your written bid on a proxy form and we will bid for you in the live auction. We treat your bid with integrity and do not start at your maximum, nor disclose it to anyone but the auctioneer. Send us a copy of your photo ID, a bank letter of guarantee and 10% minimum deposit up to 48 hours before the auction, and we will take care of the rest.

Winning Items:  You will have the winning bid amount, buyer's administrative fee, and sales tax

Buyer’s Administrative Fees:  A 10% administrative fee will be charged on all items selling for $5000.00 or less. A 3.5% administrative fee will be charged on all items selling for $5001.00 or more (up to a maximum of $1350.00 per lot, and a minimum of $500.00 per lot).

Please Note:  Real estate and off-site auctions are subject to an adjusted Admin fee

As a buyer, you don't pay anything to browse and bid. You will pay the auction house directly in the specified auction currency when you win a lot in an auction. The auction house will contact you notifying you of what you have won and how much you owe. The total amount that you need to send to the auction house will be composed of the following where applicable:

A buyer's administrative fee is an amount paid by the buyer to the auction house for every purchase in the auction. This administrative fee is a percentage of the final price of a lot. For example, J.M. Wood Auction charges a buyer's administrative fee of 10% for amounts below $5000. You will have to pay an additional $50 when you purchase a lot for $500.
